Good Night Book Owls!
Hi everyone!
Last year I did a Holiday Bookish Gift Guide for Children and Teens. A lot of you enjoyed it so I thought I would make a new one for this year. I will only be creating one for Teens and Adults (tomorrow), as the Children’s one would remain the same.
Let’s get started!
This year instead of recommending books, I’m going to be recommending bookish things!

A fun gift idea would be a cute bookish subscription box! Here is once called “The Bookish Box“.

Another very popular one is called Owl Crate. You can find a ton of unboxings for this box on YouTube.

There are also some very cute Etsy stores that sell really cute bookmarks! This one is of Katniss from The Hunger Games and is sold in the shop called Booked You Up.

One of my personal favorites is a shop called Crafted Van. This is a super cute set that has Coffee themed items!
This is my Holiday Gift Guide for Teens for 2015! I hope you the items!

Good Night Book Owls!
Hi everyone!
As most of you know, I celebrate Hanukkah and not Christmas. So, I thought that I would show you what I received as a “bookish” present from my parents for Hanukkah!

As most of you know, I love The Land Of Stories series by Chris Colfer! My parents are quite aware of this, and bought me the brand new box set with 2 mini stories! I am so excited to start reading these stories!
Good Night Book Owls!
Hi everyone!
One of my favourite genres is historical fiction, especially holocaust books. Today I’m going to share with you a few Holocaust book Recomendations. I have read all of these books and have enjoyed the writing in them! Let’s get started!
Between Shades of Grey was my first ever YA novel and I read it when I was in Grade 5. It is an amazing novel and my aunt, mom, and grandmother have all read it and loved it! I thourghly recommend it.
2. Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz
This book is an amazing holocaust Novel. I buy a holocaust book every year at my schools book fair, and I bought this one last year. I also bought Between Shades of Grey at my school bookfair, too! This is an amazing holocaust novel, and the emotion was real. It is very short novel, but it’s short and sweet.
3. Stones on a Grave by Kathy Kacer
I bought this book at a school event that you can read all about here. I loved this holocaust novel! It was so surprising and different than any other holocaust novel I’ve read! I really loved this one and would recommend it to all!
Those are the 3 holocaust books I recommend to everyone! Let me know some of your holocaust book Recomendations in the comments!
Good Night Book Owls!
Hi everyone!
Today I’m going to be creating a Hanukkah Book Tag! I figured since there are a lot of Christmas Book Tags, I would do a Hanukkah one!
Let’s get started!

It took me 2 weeks to finish Cress by Marissa Meyer, but I ended up loving it! It’s taking me a while to finish Winter, but I’m loving it so far, too!
2. Spinning Driedal… What book made you spin around and around?

A book that made me “spin around and around” was Red Scarf Girl. I had to read this for school last year, and I felt like there was no plot in it and once it got kind of good, it was done!
3. Hanukkah Gelt… What is the fanciest book/bookset you own?

I actually don’t have a lot of special bookish stuff, but I love this Hunger Games box set that I bought a few years ago!
4. Latka’s (Potato Pancakes)… What book do you love and reread once a year?

As most of you know, I’m in love with The Land Of Stories by Chris Colfer, and I always reread it every year!
5. Maccabees… What book has an amazing group of characters that beat out the enemies?

The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning has an amazing group of characters that #ComeTOgether (BLUEJAYS REFERENCE!!) to defeat the bad characters!
6. Family Time! What book has an amazing family aspect that touched your heart?
It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini may not have a huge family aspect, but in a way friends are more like family in this novel! Read my review here.Â
I hope that you all enjoyed my Hanukkah Book Tag!
Good Night Book Owls!
Hi everyone!
Today marks a special day in Reading, reading, READING History! 2 Years ago today, I started this blog! It is/was of the best decisions I have ever made!
I feel like this blog just turned 1 a few months ago! This year truly flew by, and it feels like 2016 is going to be flying by even faster!
I’d like to thank you a few people for making me always feel motivated to write my blog posts! Firstly my lovely parents who comment on almost every single blog post. Next, my wonderful friends! Specifically, Jordyn Sz, Jordan, Ariel, Zen, Anusha and Naomi. Finally all of the amazing publishing houses I’m in contact with! Simon and Schuster for being the first publishing house to let me read and review books for. Harper Collins Canada for the amazing tweets, ARCs and Frenzy events. Penguin Canada for the amazing books. Raincoast Teen for the amazing events and monthly newsletters. Clean Teen Publishing for the awesome experiences and Facebook group! And I’m sure I’m missing a few, but thanks to every single one of you!
Finally, a big thank you to everyone of my “Book Owls” for reading my posts! I cannot believe that this year I hit 100 followers, and I hope that my blog expands more and more!
Thanks for an awesome year, and can only go up from here.
Good Night Book Owls!

Hi everyone!
December has always been a super fun bloggy month for me! I actually created my blog in December 2013, and I always feel very inspired around this time of the year!
