Holiday Reading: Holocaust Book Recomendations

Hi everyone!

One of my favourite genres is historical fiction, especially holocaust books. Today I’m going to share with you a few Holocaust book Recomendations. I have read all of these books and have enjoyed the writing in them! Let’s get started!

  1. Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys

Between Shades of Grey was my first ever YA novel and I read it when I was in Grade 5. It is an amazing novel and my aunt, mom, and grandmother have all read it and loved it! I thourghly recommend it.

      2. Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz

This book is an amazing holocaust Novel. I buy a holocaust book every year at my schools book fair, and I bought this one last year. I also bought Between Shades of Grey at my school bookfair, too! This is an amazing holocaust novel, and the emotion was real. It is very short novel, but it’s short and sweet.

3. Stones on a Grave by Kathy Kacer

I bought this book at a school event that you can read all about here. I loved this holocaust novel! It was so surprising and different than any other holocaust novel I’ve read! I really loved this one and would recommend it to all!

Those are the 3 holocaust books I recommend to everyone! Let me know some of your holocaust book Recomendations in the comments!

Good Night Book Owls!

  1. I use to love reading historical fiction especially involving WWII. I feel like all the ones I use to read no one talks about anymore because I am so old, but I have been wanting to get back into reading them. I am currently reading Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys!

  2. Very informative post; however, holocaust material may be a little “too serious” for holiday reading!

    Keep up the great work!

    • I was highlighting some Hanukkah/Jewish related topics. If you know anything about the Jewish people you will know that the Holocaust was a very important time for the Jewish people, and highlights how strong the Jews are. Just some background info, thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!
