Booktubeathon 2015 TBR!

Hi everyone!

Yesterday, I posted my “2 week August” TBR! Today, I’m going to be posting my TBR for the Booktubeathon!

Learn more about the booktubeathon by subscribing to the official YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BookTubeAThon! It starts on August 3, and ends on the 9.

I will be following the challenges as best as I can (looking at this post now, I really didin’t follow them…) 🙂 (here they are):

1// Read a book with blue on the cover
2// Read a book by an author who shares the same first letter of your last name
3// Read someone else’s favourite book
4// Read the last book you acquired
5// Finish a book without letting go of it
6// Read a book you really want to read
7// Read seven books

The first book I want to read is Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley, this will take the challenge of a book with a blue cover.

The next book I want to read I actually won from a giveaway! It’s called Enchantment Lake by Margi Preus. This sounds really cool and I’m excited to read it!

Next I want to read Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. This was reccomended to me by my health and fitness teacher, and it sounds amazing! This will cover the challenge of read a book you want to read!

The only other “planned” book I want to read is Paper Towns by John Green!

Let me know if you guys are going to be joining in on the booktubeathon this year!

Good Night Book Owls!

Holiday Reading: XMas Booktubeathon Day 2 Update!

Hey guys!

Today I’m going to be sharing with you my progress for day 2 of the Xmas booktubeathon (I skipped day one because I didn’t read during it)!

Today, I actually read one book! Kinda… I read the second novella in the Dorothy Must Die Trilogy by Danielle Paige! Here is my book review for it: https://readingreadingalldaylong.wordpress.com/2014/04/22/dorothy-must-die-book-review-spoiler-free/! It was so good and I gave it 5/5 stars! I loved how the POV was Jellia and it was such an interesting topic! Jellia, although the we didn’t get to see her to much in DMD, she was one of my favourite charcters!

That’s it for tonight!
Good Night Book Lions!

I decided to participate, although I will really only be participating on Saturday (for the BookTubeathon), because my BFF Zen (HI ZEN, I KNOW YOU’RE READING THIS) is coming over to my house, but maybe we can read books at my house too!

Anyways, here is my TBR for the XMas Booktubeathon and Cramathon:

Good Night Book Worms!

BookTubeAThon Wrap Up and readathon announcement!

Hey guys!

So I recently participated in the book tube a thon! Needless to say, I failed horrifically.

I only read The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning and that was 472 pages. I guess that’s ok, but it put me in a little reading slump.

Therefore I’m going to be hosting a readathon called “To Many Books, So Little Time”. It starts tomorrow, Tuesday July 22 and ends on July 30. So that will give you about two weeks to read as much as you can!

I’m going to be doing daily updates and trying as hard as I can to read atom of books!

If your going to be participating in this readathon please comment below your TBR and use the #TMBSLT!

This is going to be so much fun and I’m really looking forward to it!
Happy Reading!

Good Night Book Lions!

Book-TubeAThon TBR!

Hey guys!

Today I’m going to be sharing with you all of the books that I plan on reading for the Book-TubeAThon!

The book tube a thon starts on midnight on July 14 and ends at 11:59 pm July 21!

As always I cannot guarantee that I will be reading all of these books, but I will certainly try!

I tried to correspond the books I was planning on reading to the challenges but for some of the reading challenges I did not pick anything.

Let’s get started!

1. A Book with read on the cover
For this challenge I chose The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning by Chris Colfer. This is the third book in the TLOS series! It just came out on July 8, 2014 and I’m so excited to start it!

2. A book with pictures and a book to movie adaptation
For this I chose The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick! I have wanted to read this for a long time now, and I figured this was the perfect opportunity to read it, as it goes along with not one, but TWO of the challenges!

3. A book someone else chose for me
The book my mom chose for me is Nancy Drew #1: Without a Trace by Carolyn Kenne. In my early childhood years I absolutely loved the children’s Nancy Drew and The Clue Crew series, so my mom picked up this book for me and told me that I should read it for this challenge!

4. A book from a genre that I have not read much from this year
The book I chose is Four: A Divergent Collection by Veronica Roth. I have only read 2 dystopians this year so I figured that I should read this. I absolutely ADORE the Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth so I went and picked this up. This is a collection of 4 short stories in Fours perspective!
This is a brand new release that as well came out on July 8!

5. Read 7 books

Since those are all of the challenges I will be partaking in, I chose a few more books that will work for the “Read 7 Books” challenge.

The extra first book I plan on reading is The Railway Children by E. Nesbit. The second extra book I plan on reading is The Forsaken by Lisa M. Stasse.

Those are all of the books I hope to be reading this book tube a thon!
Again, I probably won’t finish all of them but I will try!

Good Night Book Lions!

BookTubeAThon Day 3: Success or Failure? + Wrap Up!

I’m sad to say that today was and is the last day of BookTubeAThon 2013. I enjoyed it so much and I hope you guys did to!

Books:

Today I read over 200 pages of City of Bones and am LOVING IT! I love the relationship between Clary and Jace. I feel that they will end up as boyfriend and girlfriend (NO SPOILERS IN COMMENTS.). Although I am itching to find out what happens to Clarys’ mother. I feel that at this point they are moving away from the whole situation with her mother. I also don’t really understand what happened with Luke, I wish that they would’ve explained more about the vacation and that whole situation.

Twitter:

Sadly, today I had NO POWER in my house because of an ice storm. So, I could not participate in any sprints. But luckily now I have power!

Overall Rap-Up of BookTubeAThon:

This 3 days of BookTubeAThon have been a blast! It has been so nice seeing the booktuber community come together as one! Overall I read 3 books; Two Truths and A Lie, Let It Snow and (am still reading) City of Bones!

So, was today a Success or Failure? SUCCESS!

I’ve had so much fun participating in BookTubeAThon and I hope you have to!

Good Night Book Worms!

BookTubeAThon Day 2: Success or Failure?

I hope you had a good BookTubeAThon day (unlike me)! TBH, I was not in the mood for reading so I was a really big book worm lacker.

Books:

Today I finished the last story of Let it Snow and read 2 chapter of City of Bones (First book of the Mortal Instruments Series).

The last story of Let it Snow was cute, but sadly I wasn’t focused in it. I may have to do a re-read for it tomorrow.

City of Bones seems AMAZING! Then again, I’ve only read the first 2 chapters so I haven’t really formed an ABSOLUTE opinion (I’ll get a better opinion tomorrow, I hope).

Twitter:

I participated in a ton of sprinters! But sadly, I only read during the sprinters, so I read for about 2 hours 😦

Tommorow I hope to read a lot more! Which I probably will because there’s an ice storm coming in my area soon, so it’s going to be a skating rink outside tomorrow!

So, was today a Success or Failure: FAILURE!

Hope your enjoying BookTubeAThon so far!

Good Night Book Worms!

BookTubeAThon Day 1: Success or Failure?

I hope you have all been enjoy BookTubeAThon! Here is my update on what I read and MORE!

Books I Read:

Today I finished 2 books! I finished reading Two Truths and a Lie, as well as reading 2/3 of the stories in Let It Snow.

Two truths and a lie had a great ending. Needless to say, the book was quite boring (which was not a suprise, the 2nd was quite boring as well). Although, I enjoyed the flashbacks the most out of the first two. They explained alot which was helpful to us readers, in order to figure out more clues on who killed Sutton.

Let it Snow has been an amazing book for me to read. This holiday season I am going to read more “chill” books (rather then murder or death). In the first story of the book, I grasped the characters opinions in order to relate to my own life or similar experience. I loved both the boy and girl and the relation ship together. The second story was more difficult for me to grasp. I loved the romantic feel in the first story. The second story was more adventurous then romantic. The factor of adventure wasn’t a bad thing, nor if I wanted to read an adventurous novel I would not have chosen this book. Needless to say the relation “dude” and the other boy came together slowly, but surely. I love the aspect of the storys connecting at the “Waffle House”. I thought that it would have been so much better if the charcters from the first and second story come together.

Twitter:

I got a chance to participate with 3 sprinter activites. The first was 15 min., then 10 min., then 20 min. I read alot more then this on my own though. I go on twitter using my personal account but I am thinking of making a twitter account to connect with you guys (I’ll tell you when it’s up and running)!

So, was today a Success or a Faiure? SUCCESS!

I hope you are enjoying BookTubeAThon as much as I am!

Good Night Book Worms!
