2015 Year In Review: Blog Stats

Holiday Reading: Merry Christmas!

Holiday Reading: Quick Thought #16: Starbucks in Bookstores is ALWAYS Better

Hi everyone!

One day, I walked into my local bookstore and saw a Starbucks in it! As normal, I ordered the usual,  a Grande Cotton Candy Frappucino. While enjoying it, I realized that Starbucks in Indigo or any cafe in any bookstore is always better! The whole atmosphere is much better than a busy single store, and the baristas are so nice!

Today, I thought I would quickly remind you all of the bookish opportunities to donate in your community!

Throughout this time of year when most of us get gifts, we should remember the people who are not fortunate enough to be able to have that opportunity. Many libraries and charities around this time of year look for book donations, and I’m sure us book bloggers have a ton of books to donate!

Holiday Reading: Fun Bookish Winter Activities

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to share with you a few fun bookish winter activities!

  1. Reorganize Your Bookshelf!

Epic Reads has a very fun quiz you can take on how you should reorganize your bookshelf, and you can play it here!

2. Visit Your Local Library

Believe it or not, there are still many people who have yet to lay eyes on their local libraries shelves, and you might be one of them! Several months ago, I made a tour of my library and you can read about it here.

3.  Host a Book Club

Maybe a few of your closest friends love to read and have nothing to do over the break! Create and host a book club meeting for all of your friends to enjoy!

Holiday Reaing: Winter Break TBR

Hi everyone!

Today, I’m going to share with you my Winter Break TBR! I officially start winter break today (December 19), so I planned out a few books to read!

This will not include my Holiday Booktubeathon TBR, I will be posting that on Sunday!

 

The first book I plan on reading is Genius by Leopoldo Gout. I just received this book from Raincoast Canada and I am so excited to read it, it sounds amazing!

The second book I plan on reading is Where You’ll Find Me by Natasha Friend. I received this book from Raincoast Canada last month and I plan on reading it now as it (again) sounds SO GOOD!

I then want to read Say What You Will by Cammie Mcgovern. I have been wanting to read this for such a long time and I think that now would be a good time to read this!

Finally, I plan on reading A Step Toward Falling by Cammie Mcgovern. I got an ARC of this book at Frenzy Presents and I haven’t read it yet so I need to!! I want to read Say What You Will first, so that’s why her first book is in my TBR too!

Today I’m going to be writing a book review for an amazing winter book called My True Love Gave to Me by several different authors!

Review:

I don’t really want to give away to much of my thoughts, as I think that when reading this book/the 12 stories its much better to read this without any info on the book/stories. All I’m going to say is that I LOVED this book! I loved almost all of the stories and would recommend it to all! Especially if you have read and enjoyed Let It Snow by 3 Amazing Authors! Overall I gave it 5/5 stars!
