Hi everyone!
Today I’m going to be posting something that I’ve wanted to get to for a while! I haven’t seen many of these, but I figured I would do one! Today, I am going to be showing you a tour of my Library!
I live in Vaughan, ON and I’m going to be showing you thru one of my most frequent Library’s that I go to. It’s called the Vaughan Library: Bathurst Clark Resource Center!
This is what it looks like on the outside! All other pictures were taken by me, approximately 3 weeks ago.
This is what it looks like when you walk in through the front doors. On the stands, you will find featured books, that relate to the season or time of month. They also could be New Releases that the library just bought! And, section in the back is ALL of the YA books!
Right when you turn around the corner, you will see this self! It is dedicated to on Sale Books! Hardcovers are $1.00, and paperbacks are $0.25! Movies and CD’s are about $2.00-$3.00! This is a great way to get some great bargains on books, while still supporting your local Library!
If you walk a few steps after that, you will see an AWESOME Water Bottle Re-Filling station! This may not be book related, but I just HAD to include this cool feature!
Now what you’re all waiting for! Here is the YA/Teen area! It includes benches and desks in the middle. I would’ve taken a picture of them, but there were people doing work on them.
Those were some pictures of the YA section!
Right beside of the YA section, is the Graphic Novel area! See any of your favourites?
Let’s head on over to the Children’s section, shall we?
In the center there is a HUGE carpet on the floor in the middle! It may not seem like it from this angle, but it’s awesome and has been at this library FOREVER!
Those were some pictures of the Children’s book section! See any of your child hood favourites?
There’s Super Man!
Those are 2 pictures of the Children’s movie section, which I sadly go to WAY to often!
Now let’s head over to the Adult Fiction center! This a picture of the mass paper back book sections! Do you spot the cool Water Bottle Re-Fill station in the back?!
Here’s a picture of some of the awesome Adult Fiction books! See any of you’re favourites?
Here’s the Adult Non-Fiction center. In this picture you see some of the Law books!
Here is the shelf of reserved fiction. On the white stickers, it shows the last 8 digits of your Library Card Number, as well as your first and middle name.
Lastly, here is the Adult/Teen movie section!
I hope you enjoyed this tour of my Local Library! See any of your favourites in the pictures? Let me know in the comments below!
Good Night Book Lions!
